Because it was summer here we went strawberry picking. There were loads of ripe strawberries. We filled four punnets and we had them with cream!
Some people left a hamster called Rosie with us. She is brown and white and fuzzy and rolls about in a plastic ball.
We then went to Mountfitchet Castle, it was conquered by the Normans in 1066. Click here to see more about it.

We also went to the beach on a hot day, it was 30 Degrees and I built a sand castle.

That was a big sandcastle you made. It looked like so much fun. Lincoln thinks it was totally terrific. Did the waves smash up your castle?
ReplyDeleteIt is a bit colder here with a high of 12 degrees. Those strawberries looked really yummy !
Andrew is back. He got a cute toy frog who wags his bottom and sings rap music.
It's Peace week here at school and we are having fun activities at lunchtime.
Look after that hamster.
take care

Guess what Luke? It was snowing here in Eastbourne and Wellington on Monday and Tuesday. The snow at Mrs Chao's house was deep and she got her car stuck in the snow. It's just raining and cold here now and the snow has gone from most places. Muritai was open but lots of schools were closed and kids got to stay home and make snowmen.:-)Even Petone beach had snow on it!
ReplyDeleteSo what have you been doing?
